Financial Adviser - Medical Aid & GAP Cover

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, fully accredited Financial Adviser to join an established FSP practice. The role focuses on servicing an existing client base with specialist advice on Medical Aid and GAP Cover, rather than on sales or new business development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on Medical Aid and GAP Cover to existing clients.
• Manage client portfolios administratively.
• Use company‑supplied leads; no requirement to generate new business.
• Attend occasional in‑person meetings within the Free State.

Required profile

• Fully accredited and licensed Financial Adviser.
• Completion of the RE5 regulatory examination.
• Product accreditation for Medical Schemes and GAP Cover, with Medical Scheme accreditation essential.
• FAIS‑compliant and authorised to render advice.
• Knowledge of FICA compliance.
• Previous experience advising on Medical Aid and GAP Cover products.
