Financial Adviser – Mahikeng

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional, relevant financial advice, planning and product solutions tailored to their needs. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and supporting the growth of Sanlam’s brand in Mahikeng.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients through networking, prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present suitable solutions while ensuring compliance with FAIS regulations.
• Maintain and service existing client portfolios, reviewing them annually and providing ongoing advice.
• Achieve revenue targets, activity quotas and promote the Sanlam brand in line with the distribution strategy.
• Document client interactions, update records and report on contacts, appointments and business issued against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) or equivalent experience in financial advisory.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on ethical, courteous service.
• Ability to meet production targets, manage compliance and risk, and handle financial queries.
