Financial Adviser – Duxfin

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional, compliant financial advice, planning and product solutions that meet their needs. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and supporting the growth of the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, conduct fact‑finding and present solutions that align with Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Grow the Sanlam adviser business by meeting revenue, premium and activity targets.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and business networks.
• Maintain and service client relationships, ensuring ethical, courteous and professional interactions.
• Monitor client portfolios, respond to maturities, cancellations and surrenders, and update records regularly.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity metrics, including contacts, appointments and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS "Fit and Proper" requirements and successful completion of the regulatory examination (registered with FSCA for >24 months).
• Strong knowledge of financial advice, planning, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to achieve production targets, manage budgets and maintain client relationships.
