Financial Adviser – Client Advisory & Sales

About the role

Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Adviser to provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and delivering compliant, ethical service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, planning and product recommendations to meet client needs.
• Generate new business and grow existing client relationships through networking, prospecting and lead generation.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present balanced portfolio solutions.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Monitor client activities, update records and report on contacts, appointments and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS regulatory examination.
• At least 24 months registration with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial advice, risk management, budgeting and client relationship management.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and persuasive abilities.
