Financial Accountant – Vredenburg

Key responsibilities

• Financial reporting and record‑keeping.
• Preparation of key financial statements.
• Ensuring financial records are up to date.
• Prepare and file tax returns to ensure compliance.
• Analyse financial data.
• Assist with budget preparations and monitor budget vs actual performance.
• Forecast cost and revenue to support future financial planning.

Required profile

• A relevant degree in Financial Accounting.
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
• 2–3 years’ experience preparing financial statements.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Professional communication and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• Previous experience in an accounting practice (advantage).
• Technical knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and African tax legislation (advantage).
