Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven finance professional to join our Finance team. This role is suited to a candidate with a BCom Accounting / Finance qualification, completed SAIPA articles, or someone who is currently studying towards CIMA.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with cash flow, banking and treasury administration
• Preparing reconciliations, journals and financial schedules
• Supporting tax, payroll and statutory submissions
• Assisting with audit preparation and reporting packs
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting

Required profile

• BCom Accounting, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting or similar
• Completed SAIPA articles advantageous
• CIMA studies / registration advantageous
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
• Foreign exchange knowledge
• SARS eFiling queries
• Good understanding of journals, reconciliations and accounting principles
• Accurate, organised, deadline‑driven and willing to learn
