About the role
We are seeking a detail‑driven Financial Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will ensure accurate recording, reporting and analysis of financial transactions to support informed decision‑making and compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely payments in line with agreed supplier payment terms.
- Process bi‑weekly payment runs.
- Assist with monitoring and managing company cashflow.
- Reconcile online sales to bank receipts.
- Support weekly and monthly financial reporting.
- Assist with audits, finance projects, and ad‑hoc reporting.
- Process and reconcile loan and expense transactions.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
- B.Com Accounting or a comparable qualification.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Microsoft Office suite.
What we offer
- Competitive annual salary between R312,000 and R360,000.
