Financial Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA) – Lanseria, Gauteng

About the role

An established commercial group in Lanseria is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage end‑to‑end accounting processes, general‑ledger reconciliations and financial reporting in a dynamic commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices in the ERP system, matching them to purchase orders and GRNs.
• Handle foreign supplier transactions, clearing agents, costings and bank UCR declarations.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, post monthly depreciation and release GL/inventory journals.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts, credit cards and supplier statements, including GRN suspense accounts.
• Perform credit release sign‑offs, process debit orders and prepare VAT returns.
• Assist with stock captures and physical inventory count reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CA qualification or completed SAICA/SAIPA articles preferred.
• Strong proven accounting experience with fluency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Fully fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics (C+ or higher).
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• High integrity, precision, strong organisational capability and high emotional intelligence.
