Finance Manager – Used Car Dealership

About the role

Join AUTO24, a leading used‑car retailer in South Africa, as the Finance Manager for its Johannesburg dealership. You will own the financial function across vehicle sales, workshop services and parts, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls throughout the used‑car lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management for all dealership operations.
• Manage accounting for vehicle sales, workshop services and parts departments, ensuring profit‑centre and cost‑centre accuracy.
• Lead month‑end close, reconciliations and maintain financial controls using Xero and related tools.
• Provide financial analysis to support reconditioning, sales performance and overall dealership profitability.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive dealership accounting, covering sales, workshop and parts entities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full accounting function, including debtor management and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with Xero and other digital finance tools.
• Eligibility to work in South Africa and based in Johannesburg.
