Finance Manager – Manufacturing & Costing

About the role

We are a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services provider seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the full finance function. The role combines strategic financial oversight with hands‑on costing and manufacturing analysis to support growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance activities, ensuring accurate statutory submissions (VAT, PAYE, Workmen's Compensation, etc.).
• Supervise the Accountant and Receptionist, maintain up‑to‑date debtors, creditors and cash books.
• Design, implement and maintain reporting systems, manage month‑end and year‑end processes, and act as Syspro super‑user.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, cash‑flow analyses and KPI calculations for incentive schemes.
• Manage investment activities, secure funding and negotiate favourable terms with financial institutions.
• Control working capital, monitor cash flow, and drive cost‑saving initiatives across stock, provisions and inventory.
• Negotiate supplier credit terms, oversee supplier payments and ensure timely debt collection.
• Support external accountants with tax filings, audits and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in manufacturing or costing environments.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, especially in cost and variance analysis.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Syspro ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
