Finance & Insurance Manager – Light, Medium & Heavy Duty Trucks

About the role

Our client, a globally recognised commercial vehicle manufacturer operating in South Africa, is looking for an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager. The role covers the full range of light, medium and heavy‑duty trucks and requires full FAIS accreditation and relevant product qualifications to advise and sell finance and insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, present and finalise finance and insurance solutions for commercial vehicle customers across all truck categories.
• Advise customers on instalment sale, lease, fleet finance and related products, ensuring compliance with FAIS and the National Credit Act.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions and insurance providers to secure approvals and optimal terms.
• Support the sales team from early stages to maximise deal conversion and profitability.
• Promote and sell Value Added Products such as extended warranties, maintenance plans and credit life insurance.
• Maintain accurate F&I documentation and records in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Fully accredited under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
• Proven experience in vehicle finance and insurance, preferably within the commercial truck sector.
• Strong knowledge of the National Credit Act and related legislation.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with sales teams, financial institutions and insurers.

Required skills

• FAIS accreditation.
• In‑depth understanding of vehicle finance products and insurance policies.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements under FAIS and NCA.
