Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager – Automotive Dealership

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join a well‑established automotive dealership in Hermanus, Western Cape. The role focuses on structuring finance and insurance solutions for vehicle buyers while ensuring full regulatory compliance and delivering a premium customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and structure vehicle finance and insurance solutions for customers.
• Maintain compliance with FAIS legislation, dealership policies, and all regulatory requirements.
• Present value‑added products and services ethically and professionally.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and insurance providers.
• Achieve monthly finance, insurance, and product sales targets.
• Prepare, process, and file finance documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Department to ensure seamless vehicle deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Immediate availability or short‑notice start.
• Qualified F&I Manager with valid FAIS accreditation and F&I certification.
• RE5 qualification (advantageous).
• 3–5 years of dealership experience in a similar F&I role.
• Proven track record arranging vehicle finance and insurance solutions.
• Strong understanding of FAIS legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and professional appearance.
