Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are building a forward‑looking Finance Business Partnering capability to support growth across the bank. In this role you will work directly with senior leaders, shaping strategy and turning financial insight into real impact.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to support planning, performance tracking and decision‑making.
• Translate business drivers into clear financial insight that informs action.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.
• Provide commercial analysis to manage risk and support sustainable growth.
• Use financial models and driver‑based analysis to test scenarios and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) professional.
• 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Proven experience delivering financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting.
• Strong financial modelling capability, including scenario and strategic investment evaluation.
• Experience in complex, multi‑divisional environments and understanding of cross‑functional financial integration.
• Good knowledge of financial governance, regulatory frameworks and IFRS (advantageous).
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and planning tools.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
