Finance Business Partner: Gauteng

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its South Africa finance team. The role drives profitable performance through strategic financial insight, cost optimisation and strong governance across the Gauteng region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional leadership to conduct bi‑monthly cost reviews, identify overspend risks and implement corrective actions targeting at least a 3% reduction in controllable costs year‑on‑year.
• Produce and present twice‑monthly cost forecasts, keeping variances within a 2% band to support proactive senior‑leader decisions.
• Lead quarterly RACM self‑assessments, close 95% of identified control gaps and ensure robust financial governance.
• Compile monthly income‑statement variance reports and margin analyses, delivering three actionable pricing or mix opportunities each quarter.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, delivering a final regional budget with revenue and cost variance no greater than 5%.
• Develop and roll out financial training modules for line managers, achieving a 90% competency rating within six months.

Required profile

• BCom (Honours) in Accounting or Financial Management (required); CA(SA) or CIMA certification advantageous.
• 8–10 years progressive financial management experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods, with proven regional budgeting, cost control and governance implementation.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex models, pivot tables, macros).
• Proficiency with ERP/financial systems and budgeting platforms.
