Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology while offering customers tailored upgrades. You will work directly in customers' homes, ensuring safety, convenience, and peace of mind through reliable service and consultative sales.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess each residence on‑site to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with team leaders for ongoing coaching and career development.

Required profile

• Positive, customer‑first attitude with strong integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and licensing requirements.
