Factory Manager

About the role

Round Square Projects is seeking a full‑time Factory Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations at its Randburg facility. The role involves planning and scheduling production, coordinating resources and ensuring projects meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise factory staff, enforce health and safety standards and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with project, design and procurement teams to align resources.
• Track performance metrics, resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets and analyse production data to optimise efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or diploma/degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations or related field (advantageous).
• Previous experience managing a factory or workshop, preferably in shop‑fitting, manufacturing or retail construction.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with budget management.
