About the role
The Officer: Facilities Management is responsible for delivering and overseeing facilities services that ensure a functional, safe, and well‑maintained working environment for the Road Accident Fund. The role involves coordinating maintenance, space management, and financial processes related to facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative facilities support, including building inspections, board‑room bookings, office furnishing, and hygiene standards.
- Manage space and parking, reconciling parking allocations with contracts and head‑count.
- Process accounts payments in SAP, consolidate invoices, verify contract amounts, and create requisitions.
- Produce monthly reports on facilities activities, requisition status, and identified health‑and‑safety concerns.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements and contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Facilities Management or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant facilities management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated planning, organising, judgement, and client‑service orientation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP for invoicing and requisition management.
- Knowledge of building maintenance processes and basic financial procedures.
- Project coordination and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to generate and analyse facilities‑related reports.
