Eyewear Sales Representative – Johannesburg Inland

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an energetic, ambitious and commercially driven Sales Representative to join a leading eyewear business covering the Johannesburg Inland region. The role requires a proactive approach, a genuine passion for sales, eyewear, fashion and brands, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the Johannesburg Inland territory and existing client base.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Represent the company’s brands professionally and act as a brand ambassador.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly sales and KPI targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Grow distribution and increase market share across key accounts.
• Negotiate with clients and confidently close new business.
• Implement trade marketing and point‑of‑sale initiatives, including visual merchandising.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and 3–5 years proven B2B sales experience.
• Experience in fashion, medical, FMCG or related industry; optical experience advantageous.
• Strong account management, new business development, negotiation and closing skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, resilient with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel 1–2 weeks per month.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Required skills

• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital/online systems.
