External Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for an External Sales Representative to drive new business and nurture existing client relationships for our hydraulic seal product range. The role involves field visits, product presentations and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hydraulics and related industrial sectors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits and support.
• Conduct site assessments, product demonstrations and prepare quotations and proposals.
• Submit sales reports and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Coordinate order processing with internal departments to guarantee timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hydraulic sales or the hydraulics industry (essential).
• 3–5 years of external sales experience in an industrial environment.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Computer literacy with MS Office; familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
