Sales Administrator

About the role

Unique Personnel is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to provide efficient sales coordination for production, sales teams and clients. The role ensures quotations, orders and deliveries are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to all Requests for Quotation (RFQ) within 24 hours and confirm orders, contracts and delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders and conversions in the departmental system.
• Communicate customer complaints and resolution progress to managers and sales representatives.
• Raise payment requests for allocated accounts and expedite outstanding client payments every two days.
• Obtain import permits when required and record invoices and proof‑of‑delivery documents in the electronic document management system.
• Update the daily invoice register and ensure all correspondence is filed in the appropriate electronic job file.
• Follow the company’s order intake process, forward client orders to the relevant department on the same day, and handle critical orders urgently.
• Investigate order delays promptly and inform customers of any issues.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic document management systems.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate paperwork and data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and payment processes.
