External Sales Consultant (FAIS) - Robertson

About the role

Absa is hiring an External Sales Consultant (FAIS) based in Robertson, covering the Swellendam, Montagu, Bonnievale and Southern Overstrand region. The consultant drives sales growth (volume and value) and service delivery competitiveness by owning their performance targets, supporting cross-sell opportunities and building networks and relationships that generate leads and raise Absa's visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver all individual performance targets for the allocated portfolio of external sales activities, including Inclusive Banking, Entry Level and Bulk Acquisition Sales in the B2C environment
• Plan and run education on Absa's value proposition to customers and support migration targets in the area
• Represent Absa at external sales engagements such as workplace banking schemes, public forums, major events and festivals
• Identify and convert leads, and engage existing clients on new products, services and migration strategies
• Manage campaign execution, daily sales planning and strategic time management
• Build networks and relationships to support lead generation and Absa visibility across the region
• Resolve client queries and complaints, aiming for a customer experience score above 92%
• Adhere to sales disciplines, risk and regulatory requirements, and provide accurate sales and migration reporting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Banking
• Ability to work in a high-dependency acquisition environment (New to Bank and New to Transact)
