About the role
Van Schaik Bookstore is looking for a proactive External Sales Consultant to grow its presence in the Cedar Square, Fourways area. You will be responsible for promoting our range of books and related products to a variety of institutional customers.
Key responsibilities
- Sourcing new business within schools, TVET, higher education, nursing, corporate, government and library segments.
- Building brand equity and increasing market visibility.
- Gathering market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
- Managing customer relationships and ensuring high service standards.
- Performing administrative duties related to sales activities.
Required profile
- Minimum two years’ experience in selling or marketing books or related products.
- Sales or marketing qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Valid Code EB (08) driver’s licence and own suitable transport.
