About the role

Recruitco is seeking an Expert Front-End Developer to join a global IT team focused on Supplier Call Off and Supply Chain Control solutions. The role is based in Johannesburg with a hybrid work model (two days onsite per week) and a three‑year renewable contract.

Key responsibilities

Provide 2nd and 3rd level operational support.
Develop new front‑end and back‑end functionality.
Implement changes to existing solutions and enhance APIs.
Create and expand automated test suites, improving coverage.
Maintain and refine functional components during test cycles and rollouts.
Perform quality checks across local, international and third‑party teams.

Required profile

Minimum 6 years of front‑end development experience.
At least 3 years with test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
3 + years of Java or Python development experience.
1 + year of containerisation, CI/CD and IaC experience.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Azure cloud services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
