Expert Engineer – Industrial Services & Cybersecurity

About the role

TÜV Rheinland is seeking an Expert Engineer to support its Industrial Services & Cybersecurity unit. You will work on the safety and security of industrial plants, focusing on operational technology, renewable energy projects and major infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assess construction quality and evaluate condition of buildings, plants and engineering structures such as bridges, masts and towers.
• Perform stability checks and structural fire‑protection assessments.
• Support customers on‑site with technical issues related to new and existing facilities.
• Lead order clarification discussions, develop concepts and oversee their implementation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on functional safety and OT‑security projects.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in construction assessment, structural safety or related industrial engineering fields.
