Executive Support & Communications Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Support & Communications Specialist to maximise the CEO’s effectiveness. The role combines proactive executive assistance, gate‑keeping, and high‑impact communication to shape a consistent leadership narrative both inside and outside the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage the CEO’s calendar, access, information flow and readiness.
• Act as a trusted gatekeeper, prioritising requests, safeguarding confidentiality and ensuring follow‑through on commitments.
• Craft and deliver a clear, credible CEO narrative across internal and external platforms.
• Drive organisational alignment through effective internal communication and leadership messaging.
• Enhance brand trust and CEO visibility by preparing engagements, events, media interactions and stakeholder communications.
• Provide well‑researched, accurate, fit‑for‑purpose content for all CEO engagements.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience supporting senior leaders in executive support, communications or related roles.
• Confident, dynamic and socially agile with strong presence and emotional intelligence.
• Comfortable engaging across senior, public and informal settings, able to read the room and adapt messages.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and trusted with confidential information.
• Curious, well‑informed and proud to represent the CEO with credibility, judgement and polish.

• Speechwriting and briefing preparation.
• Executive protocol and content creation for digital channels.
