About the role

Surge Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Estate Manager or Senior Portfolio Manager for a high‑profile property in Johannesburg. The position is hands‑on and available immediately on a fixed‑term contract. You will be fully responsible for the day‑to‑day management and operations of the premier estate.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day management and operations of the estate.
• Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers effectively.
• Address operational and maintenance matters efficiently and proactively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, owners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant property‑management requirements.
• Take accountability for the overall functioning of the estate.
• Identify issues and implement practical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property management.
• Hands‑on approach with willingness to be involved operationally.
• Accountable, proactive and solutions‑driven mindset.
• Confidence managing contractors, service providers and stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership and maintain high standards.
• Professional demeanour with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Available to start immediately.
