About the role
We are looking for an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary to join our team in Parktown, Gauteng. The role focuses on delivering safe, supportive nursing care within a mental health environment, ensuring patients receive high‑quality assistance and communication.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe and supportive physical and psychological environment for patients.
- Participate in effective communication of patient affairs, including critical results, handovers, and concerns during interdisciplinary rounds.
- Educate patients about prescribed medication and promote therapy compliance.
- Facilitate patient adherence to therapy activities and daily schedules.
- Deliver safe, quality nursing care in line with the scope of practice.
Required profile
- Registered Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary certificate.
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Experience in a mental health setting is advantageous.
