Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary – ICU/High Care

About the role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary (ENA) to provide high‑quality nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit / High Care department of a private hospital in Bloemfontein. The role involves working part‑time shifts as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and delivering compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in line with the ENA scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with legal and company documentation standards.
• Identify, prevent and report any medico‑legal risks to protect patient safety.
• Manage stock and equipment according to client policies.

Required profile

• Valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) licence.
• Post‑qualification experience in ICU or High Care settings.
• Ability to demonstrate and assess relevant clinical procedures.
