Employment Equity Specialist – Talent Pool

About the role

The Employment Equity Specialist supports clients in meeting their Employment Equity obligations, guiding them through legislation compliance, reporting and the implementation of EE strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients develop and execute their Employment Equity Plans while maintaining strong relationships that generate new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 100% client retention by delivering high‑quality consulting services and managing diaries, service activities and consulting schedules.
• Lead the planning, implementation, execution and record‑keeping of Employment Equity compliance for the client portfolio.
• Identify and resolve barriers to compliance, conduct numerical and non‑numerical analyses, and develop EE plans with required consultation.
• Ensure timely submission of EEA2 and EEA4 reports to the Department of Employment and Labour.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for compliance queries and promote client awareness of Employment Equity objectives.

Required profile

• National diploma, BA or BCom degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, Financial Management or a related field.
• Customer‑first mindset with experience delivering services to businesses or business units.
• Familiarity with EEA2/EEA4 submissions, policy drafting and implementation is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
