Employment Equity Specialist – Client Compliance & Advisory

About the role

The Employment Equity Specialist supports Labournet’s clients in meeting their Employment Equity obligations. You will guide organisations through legislative compliance, report submission and the development and implementation of their Employment Equity plans.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 100% client retention by delivering high‑quality consultancy and managing service schedules.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Employment Equity legislation, system functionality and best practices.
• Plan, implement and record all Employment Equity compliance activities for assigned clients.
• Identify and resolve barriers to compliance and ensure consultative processes are followed.
• Conduct numerical and non‑numerical analyses to set EE goals and develop actionable plans.
• Oversee the submission of EEA2 and EEA4 reports to the Department of Employment and Labour.
• Assist clients with succession and experience planning for designated individuals.
• Generate visitation schedules, manage documentation and ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of South African Employment Equity legislation and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and retain accounts.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to handle multiple client diaries.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and competency assessment.
