Electrical Engineer

About the role

Work closely with projects and engineering departments to achieve company objectives while prioritising safety and equipment integrity. Responsible for interpreting, organising and implementing maintenance engineering within project and plant environments, driving continuous improvement and sustainability.

• Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvements
• Administration and ad‑hoc tasks

Required profile

• BSc/BTech Electrical Engineering (NQF 7)
• 5–10 years experience in a manufacturing/foundry environment
• PLC and SCADA training
• Project management training for large‑scale projects
• OHS Act training
• Technical expertise in electronics and electricity circuitry design and fault‑finding
• Knowledge of machine electrical systems and control sequencing
• Experience with downtime analysis and OEE initiatives
