Draughtsman / Designer – Structural, Mechanical & Civil

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Draughtsman/Designer to join our high‑performance engineering design team in Centurion. The role focuses on structural, mechanical and civil design for mining, mineral processing and industrial projects, delivering efficient plant layouts and detailed fabrication drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop efficient plant layouts and structural concepts.
• Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure design integrity and project timelines.
• Apply solution‑oriented thinking to solve complex design challenges.
• Support occasional site visits to Middelburg and other South African locations.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in structural, mechanical or civil design.
• Innovative and adaptable mindset with a fast‑thinking approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical, detail‑driven and eager to improve processes.
• Ambitious and ready to take ownership of design work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tekla.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Inventor.
• Proficiency in Plant 3D.
• Proficiency in Revit.
