Domestic Assistant – Westray Surgery

About the role
The Domestic Assistant will help maintain a clean, safe environment at Westray Surgery in line with the NHS National Cleaning Specification. You will join a team delivering cleaning and domestic services to support patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and domestic duties throughout the surgery premises.
- Follow NHS cleaning standards and health‑and‑safety procedures.
- Work on a relief basis, covering shifts as required.
- Handle waste and maintain infection‑control protocols.
Required profile
- Previous experience in cleaning or domestic services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
