About the role
The Dispatch/Receiving Foreman will ensure efficient packing, dispatch, and receiving processes within a manufacturing environment near Durban.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all units are packed and strapped to preserve stock and follow the dispatch process.
- Oversee receiving, ensuring items are booked into the system promptly and perform critical quality checks on local engineering components.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Transportation Management or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a receiving and dispatch environment within manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory/managerial experience.
- Operational experience with forklift and crane licenses.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (MS Office).
- Forklift operation.
