Dispatch Supervisor – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

The Dispatch Supervisor supports daily warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring smooth stock movements and accurate documentation. This position plays a key role in maintaining safety, food‑quality, and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily operational updates to internal and external customers.
• Manage inventory distribution, receiving, and record‑keeping.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements.
• Prepare and submit dispatch and receiving documentation on time.
• Monitor dispatch activities, resolve issues, and ensure trucks are clean and compliant before loading.
• Maintain high volumes of paperwork and accurate records.
• Arrange product dispatch and collection according to company processes.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, food‑safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education.
• 2‑4 years experience in food manufacturing or related logistics.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Forklift certification and driving experience.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 principles.
• Ability to work well in a team and lead by example.
