Discord Community Gaming Influencer

About the role

A remote, fixed-term position for a passionate gamer who acts as an influencer to build community engagement and turn it into measurable results. The role reports to the CEO, works with strategic advisors and drives lead generation within the gaming development community by building active developer relationships, driving subscription adoption and qualifying prospective studios. It has end-to-end ownership of community health, content scheduling and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, structure and maintain a Discord community within the gaming industry.
• Onboard trial and VIP users personally and make sure community showcase posts get responses within 24 hours.
• Represent the organisation at digital and in-person gaming events to build relationships with developers and technical artists.
• Produce engagement content such as short video tutorials, quickstart clips, prompt resources and community showcase highlights.
• Author and schedule weekly social media content, including launch follow-ups, member spotlights, product demos and event invitations, and keep a content calendar.
• Turn engagement into public proof points such as case studies, testimonials and feedback loops.
• Prospect, qualify and convert users to monthly subscriptions, book qualified meetings and run outreach sequences, keeping pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for gaming, especially avatar creation, and active engagement with gaming culture.
• Practical understanding of avatar character creation, including modelling, rigging, texturing, variation costs and engine integration (Unreal Engine or Unity).
• Strong technical communication skills and fluent written English.
• Self-starter with a track record of owning operational outcomes in small teams, highly organised and able to manage follow-ups independently.
