Digital Marketing Account Manager – Durban

About the role

A Digital Marketing Agency focused on the automotive sector is seeking a proactive Account Manager to build and maintain relationships with dealership contacts across Durban. Reporting to the National Account Manager, you will act as the primary liaison, showcasing the value of the agency’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce yourself to new accounts after hand‑over from the sales team and conduct regular calls and monthly visits.
• Train clients on all system features and ensure they are using recommended services and products.
• Provide first‑line customer and system support, troubleshooting issues and resolving them promptly.
• Prepare and present performance reports to clients and internal sales/marketing teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client records, meeting notes, and weekly reports for the National Account Manager.
• Draft client briefs for new projects, including copywriting and proof‑reading of marketing material.
• Communicate key insights and action items across teams to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extroverted, relationship‑focused personality with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a marketing or account‑management role.
• Relevant degree or qualification in marketing or sales.
