Digital Delivery Lead

About the role

The Digital Delivery Lead will drive BIM and digital modelling activities for water infrastructure projects in Durban, reporting to the Technical Principal. The role combines complex design modelling, tender documentation, and technical support to meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 3D modelling, detailing and quality audits of outgoing drawings and models.
• Implement BIM standards, develop Autodesk templates, libraries and processes.
• Produce and review tender and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO‑19650.
• Mentor junior staff, provide technical support and conduct training.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary project teams and act as supervisor on project delivery.
• Support project managers with site queries, reporting and client liaison, including travel as required.

Required profile

• Professional registration in draughting (Autodesk Certified) and minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience in water and sewer projects.
• At least 5 years in a digital delivery or BIM leadership role on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering models to LOD 400‑500 and working with BIM360, ACC and Projectwise.
