Diesel Mechanic Red Seal – Agricultural Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a Red Seal certification to join our team servicing agricultural equipment and tractors. The role involves maintaining and repairing diesel‑powered machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes and steering components.
• Diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment, and carry out necessary repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, conduct oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, parts used and repairs completed.
• Collaborate with other mechanics on larger repair projects and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with a Red Seal Mechanic Trade Certificate.
• Proven experience working with agricultural tractors and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
