DevOps Specialist

About the role

The DevOps Specialist will join Discovery’s Technology Services PaaS team to bridge software development and infrastructure operations. Working closely with developers, infrastructure administrators, and enterprise architects, you will help accelerate delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions that enhance continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Consult with multiple product and platform teams to select optimal toolsets for faster, safer software delivery.
• Support environments hosted in internal data centres and public cloud platforms, including provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain automated build pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
• Improve system resilience and operational performance through proactive design and tooling.

Required profile

• Software engineering or development background with solid understanding of technology infrastructure.
• Experience in development operations, preferably within a Platform‑as‑a‑Service environment.
• Ability to act as a thought leader and consultant across diverse technical teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on delivering high‑quality, secure solutions.
