DevOps Engineer – Developer Experience

About the role

Revolut is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Developer Experience (DevEx) team. You will design and maintain scalable solutions that streamline the entire application lifecycle, enabling product and platform teams to deliver high‑quality features quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage source‑control configuration to improve collaboration and code integration.
• Develop and implement infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) for high‑level abstraction of environments.
• Monitor and optimise cloud resource costs to minimise waste.
• Deploy out‑of‑the‑box observability solutions for proactive system monitoring.
• Automate compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on software engineering experience, preferably as a Python backend developer.
• Strong background with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and containerisation using Docker.
• Understanding of distributed system concepts including scaling, fault tolerance, load balancing, networking and security.
• Experience building continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Familiarity with configuration‑management and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience delivering applications on Kubernetes.
