Deployment Strategist - Agentic AI Solutions

About the role

Salesforce is hiring Deployment Strategists, customer-facing advisors who define AI strategy, shape agentic solutions and drive measurable adoption for enterprise customers. They work in delivery teams alongside Forward Deployed Engineers, turning complex business challenges into agentic AI deployments that go live. Engagements are focused and time-bound, typically 12 weeks or less, and may cover a single account or several customers at once.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer engagement across the full value lifecycle (Identify, Commit, Deploy, Consume).
• Define the customer's Agentic AI strategy and roadmap, lead design workshops and agent design sessions, and architect solutions across Salesforce's agentic AI platform, Data Cloud and enterprise systems with responsible AI governance.
• Manage delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, risk escalation and progress reporting.
• Own adoption, consumption and expansion metrics, identify blockers early and drive value realisation.
• Partner with the Forward Deployed Engineers and act as the primary customer-facing contact, presenting proposals and outcomes in business value terms.
• Assess customer readiness for AI adoption and guide change management and process transformation.
• Turn field insights into product feedback for the Agentic AI platform roadmap.

Required profile

• 4+ years in strategic solutioning, technical advisory or delivery leadership for enterprise cloud or SaaS technology.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing delivery experience (consulting, professional services or technical advisory) is required.
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous engagements end-to-end.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to customer sites.

Required skills

• Demonstrated understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Agentic AI and Data Cloud.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, Java or Apex.
• Experience leading AI/LLM solution design, including agentic AI strategy, conversation design and responsible AI practices.
• Strong project and programme management skills.

Preferred: experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce and CRM, regulated industry deployments, platform certifications, change management background, and experience with NLP, RAG and model evaluation. Salesforce uses AI tools to screen resumes, and humans make hiring decisions.
