Dental Practice Manager – De Waterkant, Cape Town

About the role

A modern, high‑end private dental practice in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations, oversee the administrative team and ensure an outstanding patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily practice operations and administration.
• Lead, manage and develop the practice team, including HR, payroll and performance.
• Monitor finances, billing, collections and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate patient bookings, recalls, front‑office workflows and ensure record confidentiality.
• Manage stock, procurement, suppliers and practice resources.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, systems and operational processes.
• Address patient concerns professionally and drive service excellence.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Minimum 5 years managing a private dental or medical practice.
• Strong HR, payroll and staff‑management experience.
• Proven financial management and KPI reporting background.
• Stable employment history with excellent references.

Required skills

• Experience with dental practice management software such as Exact or Elixir.
• High level computer literacy and administrative skills.

• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑17:00, alternate Saturdays 08:00‑12:30.
