Delivery Assistant

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Assistant to join our logistics team. In this role you will support the efficient off‑loading of goods from trucks, ensure items reach customers’ shelves, and help maintain smooth operations during deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Unload goods from delivery trucks and transport them to customers or shop locations.
- Carry crates to the shop and return empty crates to the truck.
- Place products on customers’ shelves in an organized manner.
- Count items during delivery to verify accuracy.
- Assist the driver with vehicle maneuvers, such as reversing and changing a puncture.
Required profile
- Matric (high school) qualification.
- Valid Driver’s License (Code 10) and PDP certification is an advantage.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving crates.
- Attention to detail for accurate counting and placement.
