Data Steward

About the role

Exxaro Resources is seeking a Data Steward for its Grootgeluk Coal operation in Lephalale. In this permanent, onsite role you will ensure the accuracy, availability and quality of key performance indicators that drive production planning and reporting. You will work closely with IT, analytics and operational teams to maintain robust data governance and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data governance processes and uphold data quality standards.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Administer data assets, ensuring compliance with IT governance policies.
• Support operational teams by providing reliable data for decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to data management.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in line with company values.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
