Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist who can turn raw data into strategic business value. In this role you will design, build and deploy scalable machine‑learning solutions that drive financial gains and improve customer experiences across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and production deployment of scalable ML models and data products in a cloud environment.
• Analyse model outputs and complex datasets to uncover insights that inform business decisions and growth.
• Design and run controlled experiments, providing statistically sound recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate models into business processes.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify new data sources, methodologies and opportunities for innovation.
• Mentor and upskill junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Define and enforce best practices for code quality, version control, model validation and MLOps pipelines.

Required profile

• Honours degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or a highly quantitative field (Master’s advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of data‑science experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Retail, customer or marketing experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and business‑acumen skills.
