Data Analyst (Remote)

About the role

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join a remote, data‑driven team focused on marketing effectiveness. You will work closely with senior analysts in London and contribute to high‑impact econometric modelling projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and interpret statistical and econometric models, with an emphasis on time‑series analysis.
• Build and customise marketing effectiveness models to support client insight work.
• Resolve complex data and system issues escalated from the broader Data team.
• Manipulate large data sets: format, extract, clean and structure data at scale.
• Own complex data investigations, modelling challenges and technical issues raised by the Data Science team.
• Support London‑based senior analysts on technical workstreams and act as a resource during workload spikes.
• Quality‑check analyses produced by junior analysts, mentor them on econometric methods, and potentially lead a small remote pod.
• Contribute to a unified advertisement response analysis across online and offline channels.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive analytical tasks and develop those solutions.
• Ensure data privacy and security in all handling of company and client data.
• Coordinate effectively with London teams, providing clear written hand‑offs.

Required profile

• Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Economics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data modelling and analysis.
• Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, media or marketing sectors is a plus.
