Data Analyst - Media Experience

About the role

Be Different is hiring a Data Analyst for its Media Experience Essential role in Midrand, Gauteng. The position supports strategic and operational decisions by analysing customer, content and platform performance data, producing reports and dashboards, and acting as the main point of contact for NPAW analytics and audience measurement reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer, content and platform performance data, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and give stakeholders actionable recommendations
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and develop live, always-on digital dashboards for key metrics
• Maintain reporting dashboards and automated reporting tools, and partner with stakeholders so reporting stays aligned to business priorities
• Act as the primary point of contact for NPAW analytics, validate data sources, resolve discrepancies and set reporting standards and definitions
• Validate and maintain accurate As-Run files, consolidate scheduling, transmission and content performance data, and coordinate with Nielsen and other audience measurement partners
• Analyse content performance and audience behaviour, prepare client and advertiser as-run and campaign dashboards with ROI and recommendations, and report on consumption patterns and KPIs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Experience in media, broadcast, digital content or subscription services
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
