Data Analyst – Internal Audit

About the role

DigiOutsource is seeking a Data Analyst to support its Internal Audit function. You will use data analytics to provide governance, risk and control insights that help the business stay ahead of emerging challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal auditors and business stakeholders to translate audit objectives into data‑analysis procedures.
• Design and develop analytics and trend analyses that highlight risk and control breakdowns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of business and audit processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Drive the implementation of a continuous‑auditing framework using data analytics.
• Create dashboards and visualisations to enhance reporting and increase audit coverage.
• Prepare working papers, data dictionaries and reports to support analytics work.
• Ensure quality execution and reporting of data‑analytics activities.
• Assist in developing frameworks, policies and procedures for data‑analytics within Internal Audit.
• Communicate complex data‑driven insights to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex data‑driven insights and recommendations to non‑technical audiences.
