D365 Finance Process Owner (8-Month Contract)

About the role

Rotork is hiring a D365 Finance Process Owner (Finance Superuser) for an 8-month contract in Johannesburg. The role supports the implementation of new D365 systems and processes across the site and regional wave, acting as a key liaison between project teams and colleagues. It covers business readiness, solution deployment, early life support and ongoing post-implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a change champion, guide colleagues through transitions and break down resistance to change
• Deliver training and support so that new processes are adopted smoothly
• Advocate for the needs of teams, customers and end-users and highlight productivity impacts
• Provide extra support during peak periods or critical project phases
• Take part early in system design and testing, becoming a subject matter expert in the tools and systems
• Share expertise with colleagues and help plan and coordinate deployments
• Keep stakeholders informed with timely, transparent updates
• Stay engaged after go-live to monitor adoption, give ad-hoc training and contribute to continuous improvement

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial operations, with proven performance and support from line management
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive in identifying more efficient ways of working
• Able to manage multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure
• Willing to work full-time on-site during critical phases and travel outside standard hours when required
